MINIMUM ORDER

We will gladly accept your order in any amount - no minimum order requirements for in-stock items.  Dealers may be required to purchase prepacked items at the packaged quantity. 2, 5 or 10 packs etc...
 


PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Tulsa Engine Warehouse makes it easy to buy! We offer you a variety of payment options:

  • CREDIT CARD - We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
  • TERMS - Contact us to request a credit application. Approved accounts will receive terms of Net 30 days to pay. Large orders may qualify for additional discounts or terms. Schools, Government Agencies and Large Corporations can fax your P.O. to: 918-512-4256.
  • C.O.D. - SORRY, WE NO LONGER SHIP UPS C.O.D.  since we now offer electronic check prepay.
  • CHECK - You can mail your check or money order to the above address.

Special Note:  We apologize for the inconvenience but we are not able to ship out of the 48 continental U.S. States, which excludes Alaska and Hawaii. We cannot process international orders and due to postal delays and returns, we are unable to ship to APO addresses.  

Stock Status:
If we have stock in our Oklahoma facility stock status will show a number. If stock status says "See shipping info. tab" then we do not have sufficient stock level in our main warehouse. However, we have access to over 20 distribution warehouses across the country, with our main suppliers delivering shipments to us the next business day. In the event that you order an item that we are out of stock, we make every attempt to bring in your item the next business day for reshipment. This will normally only delay your order by 1-2 business days. If we can't supply the item because our vendors are also out of stock we will contact you by phone or email.

If stock level shows to be less that what you require, please order as many items as you need and we can normally fill the order within a few days or will contact you if sufficient stock is not available from our suppliers


ENGINE SHIPPING:
We stock the most popular fast moving engines, but often we can't keep up with demand or have them arriving daily for reshipment. For many brands, we can ship direct from the manufacturers warehouse to you, this will speed shipment time. We will contact you if there is a supply issue, otherwise you can expect you engine to arrive in 2-7 business days depending on your location. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Do you need a commercial address for engine delivery?
This is how it works:

Engines showing stock level of 1 or more: No commercial address needed.


Engines not in stock in our Oklahoma warehouse as follows:

Honda: No commercial address needed. Shipped UPS or Fedex Ground
Briggs & Stratton: No commercial address needed. Shipped UPS or Fedex Ground. Except 3-cylinder or 30hp and larger Vanguard.



Kawasaki: Commercial address required for truckline shipment, except small frame engines below 7 hp.
Kohler: Commercial address required for truckline shipment, except for small frame engines below 10 hp.

Commercial Address Required: This means we can't ship to your home, home based business, church, farm, school, prison or any other facility with limited access. The business needs to be open normal business hours Monday - Friday. Truckline shipments normally take 2-5 business days depending on your location. They do not call in advance since there should always be someone at the place of business. Examples are:

  • Lumber Yard
  • Auto Parts Store
  • Shipping Warehouse
  • Lawnmower Shop
  • Auto Repair Shop

If you are not able to locate a commercial shipping address, please give us a call and we may be able to arrange shipment to a truckline dock in your area.


PARTS ORDERS:

Note: Please provide a shipping address that is valid for USPS OR UPS. If orders are small and light, we normally use USPS Priority Mail for faster service times. If over 3-5 lbs, we would normally use UPS or Fedex. Also note: In the event we do not have sufficient stock, or our inventory level was wrong, we will bring in extra inventory to reship your order the next business day. We may also choose to ship large orders from multiple warehouses to speed up delivery time.

Customer Backorders: With over 180,000 part numbers listed at our web site, there *will* be times that merchandise is not readily available in our inventory or at the factory. That's a fact of life for all distributors.    In the event the items you have ordered are not available, we will check with the factory to see when it will be available.  We will also contact you by phone or email.  Please be sure to check your messages and email, just in case we need to speak with you.  We may be able to arrange special factory direct shipping to prevent any major delays with your order.


PRODUCT RETURNS

Your satisfaction is our main goal! If you ever receive a product that is defective due to workmanship or materials, just contact us for an immediate replacement (Model, Type/Spec, and Code/Serial number may be required.  If you ordered the incorrect part, we have a 15% restocking fee and prior approval is required. Returns must be authorized within 10 business days of item receipt. After 10 business days items are no longer eligible for return. Sorry, no returns on electrical items are allowed. 

Special Note About Warranty: No warranty on " Wear Items" (belts, filters, bearings etc.) Some wear items may have 90 day warranty.

The products we sell and distribute are warranted by the manufacturer of the product.  We do not manufacture any products.  You will need to contact the manufacturer or your local dealer for warranty information and repairs.  Engines or parts that have been started or had oil and/or gas added, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN, WARRANTY CLAIMS ONLY!
Products that have been used must be repaired by the engine manufacturer or their dealers. Each Manufacturer has set up a warranty policy to handle any problems you may have with your product.  Unfortunately, some repair centers may be 2-8 weeks behind during peak summer.  Although this is a major inconvenience to you, the consumer, it is out of our control.  The factory that built your product has set up the service center and created the warranty policy to help repair your product and get it back in use as soon as possible.  We do not allow the return of used or modified products. Once oil and gas have been added the engine can not be returned.  We can't ship it or resale it as new.  We apologize for this inconvenience.

Note: Engines that have been started, or used with no oil, incorrect amount or wrong type of oil is not covered by warranty.  These engines can not be returned to us or repaired by the manufacturer at no cost.  Some engine companies will arrange for special pricing on short blocks to repair your engine, but that will be up to the regional sales/service manager in your area. You will need to visit your local repair center and they will contact the factory sales representative.  This may take 1-2 months for approval.

The Dealer or Factory Sales Representative's Decision is final.  If you are told your engine is not under warranty due to lack of lubrication or any other oil related problems, we can not assume responsibility.  You will need to pay for repairs or purchase a new engine.  Although we would like to trust every customer, we must abide by the dealer or factory decision.

PRODUCT (Engine) RETURNS FROM  ONLINE ORDER.

Your satisfaction is our main goal! If you ever receive a product that is defective due to workmanship or materials, just contact your local repair center for factory warranty repair. If you are having trouble locating a factory repair center, just call us and we will help you locate a repair center.  If you ordered the incorrect part online, we have a 15% restocking fee.  If you ordered the incorrect Engine, we have a 20% restocking fee.  Sorry, no refund available on special order engines. Shipping expense is non refundable including engines that advertise free shipping.  The actual shipping cost will not be refunded.  Also note, we do not allow returns on Kawasaki engines ordered for your John Deere Machine.  Sorry, no returns on electrical items are allowed.  If we have recommended an engine for your application that was not correct, just send us a copy of the email quote and we will waive the restocking fee.  We highly recommend you Email us before ordering your engine to be sure it will work for your machine. Customer is responsible for assuring that the engine ordered will work for their specific application. Some modifications may be required if the model and type purchased differs from original model and type at the consumers expense.

DAMAGE POLICY:

All shipments must be inspected before accepting.  If the shipment is damaged or looks improperly handled, notify the delivery driver.  If engine is excessively damaged, refuse the shipment.  If your package is left at your residence while you are gone and it looks or is damaged, it is the customers responsibility to contact the delivery company.
